The most dangerous cake recipe in the world!

I finally tried this for the first time last night.

Ammaaaazing (even though I did overcook it a little)

So I modified it a touch this morning.

I omitted a tablespoon of sugar and substituted brown sugar
removed the (I know.. I KNOW

) cocoa powder and substituted 1/4-1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
2 splashes of vanilla instead of 1..
and applesauce instead of oil.

Not too shabby a cinnamon coffee cake, I imagine you could put streusel on top, but I'm feeling lazy.

Anyone else tried any major modifications? I'm thinking a pumpkin chocolate chip mug cake next

Tried this last night -- Yum! I used butter instead of oil, and didn't have chocolate chips. Its not super chocolaty, but it will sure be good in a pinch when I just need something chocolate Right Now!
 
My dd had to try this recipe. She put some minature Snickers bars on top after it was done microwaving and let them sorta melt to create a Snickers frosting lol. I tried a little bite and yum!
 
Did you all watch Rachel Ray today? There was a lady that wrote a cookbook based off of the 5 minute mug cake. It is 101 recipes for mug cake. She even mentioned one made with Crystal light along with some other interesting ideas I would have never thought of. So DS and I had 5 minute Mug cakes, for breakfast!! I had some cherry pie filling left over so I used that and almond instead of vanilla. Yummy! Oh and I didn't have any milk, but the pie filling added moisture.
