So, went to the Kentucky State Fair this year, as I have every year for the past several. But I came upon something a tad irritating today.
Walking by, I see a cage of very obvious mutt Easter Eggers, labeled as Ameraucanas. No bid deal, completely used to it. The birds are nice, well taken care of, but very obviously not purebreds. I noticed, attached to the cage, there is a paper. With MY picture of MY now deceased Blue Ameraucana cock, Titan! It's a Wikipedia article print-out on Ameraucanas. You can see it, and my picture, here. I really don't care about that; my watermark was there, and she wasn't claiming she owned him/the photo.
The really irritating part of it is that included in the article, is a bit about the confusion with Easter Eggers - but she so conveniently left that off the print-out.
And what gets to me even more, is that right across from that, I found some "Araucanas". A bunch of Easter Eggers who had suffered having their TAILS PULLED OUT.
