Would anyone be interested in MF D'Uccle hatching eggs in the summer from show stock?
I have only one pair, so quantity would be limited to a max of 12.

Personally I would not send (or want to receive) eggs that are more than 3 days old at time of shipping.
Older eggs just don't cope well shipping. They are fine when not shipped.

I'm not going to send eggs older than 3 days so I'm going to get more females.

If anyone is interested, I can also supply backyard mix eggs of larger breeds who are fantastic layers and handle our harsh WI winters very well.
Not NPIP. Roos are all bantams. White, brown, and colored egg layers. Pictures of birds and eggs available upon request. I can fill a dozen very quickly. AI used for insured fertility.

You AI your chickens. Is it hard to do? I would like to try it..

Not that hard. Hardest part might actually be getting the hen soon enough to fertilize. Within a few minutes, preferably.
Roos kept in one kennel, hens in another. AI can be done once a week.

I will have brahmas, but not until the spring probably. I don't use artificial lighting on my birds, so they won't lay until the days are longer.
