the little Salmon Favorallas I hatched from auction eggs. Hatched 13 from 14 eggs , one died shorty after hatching , and 2 that night. the rest are doing find.
They went swimming in there water dish right before pictures.
Are the little dark winged one male or can you tell?

Aww, they are cute. I just hatched some. The dark may be in a lot of the wings..don't think that is a way to sex them. I can see a couple of girls in there if I go by wing tipping. The long skinny wings, are usually girls. The one up front facing the other way looks like a girl. The one right next to her looks like a boy. Just a wing tipping guess.

. When they get bat two to three weeks old and start growing breast feathers you can tell roo and hen by the color of the feathers. I tried to guess my original four salmon favorelle at hatch and I guess all were Roos but ended up wi two of each.

thank you the color came into the wings quickly. I know on the wheaten marans those are girls. I'll have to go look at all and make a very uneducated guess lol

How do I post an Auction - I cannot see where to load a picture - Help please

Click post and the image button is up top of the box. First one in the section with the smilie face.

In the reply box, where you type, look at the toolbar at the top and you'll see on the left-ish a little icon that looks like a picture of a house. To the right of it is a movie reel and to the right of that is a paperclip. When you want to upload the pictures, click the icon of the picture of the house and then follow the directions.

No other posts showed up when I saw that question. After I hit submit, I got a ton more posts showing. I'm always so off.

What about listing what you have and
let someone build a package. Beside each breed list what you feel they will lay in a 24 hour period and someone can make their own package. Those are fun plus we get to see what breeds people have. You could say pick 2 breeds of 6 eggs each or 3 breeds of 4 eggs each.

I'll be honest my bator is put up now but I
might be tempted if breed offerings here were something I was looking for. Getting a small mixture helps a small backyard flock person like me to get more breeds hatched with only one shipping charge. . Show quality hatching eggs are of interest too. I can only have one or two of a breed so having the chance to hatch show quality is enticing too!!! I don't show chickens but I want eye candy chicken roaming my urban backyard.
