I so want some of these but it was 110' today and I'm afraid they will arrive as hard boiled eggs
Extremely hot here lately and 2 more weeks for sure of more. 108 today. It's all I can do to keep my birds comfortable, so eggs aren't showing up like usual. But I'll be adding some soon.
Not trying to be a smart *****, but wouldn't being stored at any temp higher than 100 be incubating the eggs anyway?Anyone know the max temp an egg can get and still remain viable? Been perfect weather here (about 75 degrees all week), but some of you guys are having a rough time w/ high temps... I seem to recall reading *somewhere* something about 105 being the cutoff... but cannot recall the context (storing for incubation vs. actual incubation) I do remember it being the membrane becoming impervious to gasses that caused the issue.
