The NEW Crazy 24hr AUCTION thread

TJ's eggs. Are the best! And are packed very well which makes all the difference when it comes to being transported.

Also just because a shipped egg does not develop does not mean it was infertile, -more likely it was damaged during shipping and that is why it did not develop.
It is wrong and to assume and state that undeveloped shipped eggs were infertile when they left the seller.

I cracked my broken eggs open and they were not fertile. I also opened the ones that were not developing in the incubator and there was no bullseye. All my infertile eggs were a very specific color, so it was obvious they came from the same hen. I know infertile eggs happen (I've accidentally sold them to people before :( ) but at least if they are very expensive eggs and there are a lot of infertile ones the seller should offer a refund.

You should just let them know your findings. See what they offer. I think most sellers, including myself, really appreciate it when people who know what they are doing, actually check the eggs fertility and report it to the seller. This time of year usually brings more infertile eggs.

Yeah, i called them once, he kind of chewed me out and called me a scammer. His wife refunded me $20 of the $104, but i sent it back because i was feeling nice and it wasnt about the money for me. She tried to call me several times, but i was out for work and couldnt get back to her. I sent several messages but never heard back. Just sent them another message just now letting them know about the hatch... it sucks when almost all the eggs you get are infertile... personally i would send someone more eggs to try to make up for it, try to make the situation better.. but they didnt offer that. They say thats their way of making a living and they dont refund or anything because theres too many variables thats out of their control.... which is correct to an extent... there are multiple variables that effect shipped eggs... but still.. personally id do business different...

They packaged eggs very well though, i was happy with that!

That stinks. You know that they were infertile because you know what you're looking for when you opened them up. The seller should recognize that. Sounds like someone to steer clear of :(
Yeah, there are too many variables, but not when they were infertile in the first place.

Yeah, i told them very early on in the first week that they were infertile, but i let them all go for a while just in case i was wrong... its been a bad deal... but i spent $325 last night with a lady i found much closer to me getting an order for 20 chicks that shes hatching out... should be good birds... figured getting chicks from her is less risky than ordering more hatching eggs from anyone...
