The new (human) baby thread...

Who else has teething babies? Ethan is getting his top four front teeth and it is tearing his rear end up! I've changed NINE poopy diapers today and have had to goop on the Butt Paste due to the horrible diaper rash it's giving him. No wonder he has been drooling like crazy and waking up during the night. Poor baby, his gums are so swollen. I hope they break through soon! (Even though I'm really going to miss the adorable two teeth smile he has right now.)

I hope he doesn't get the burning teething poops to go along with it!

(Speaking of... Ethan is in his walker right here beside me and he is "pushing one out".... gotta go do diaper duty!)

I hope he doesn't too. it's bad enough that he does so much in one go that it forces it's way out into his clothes ugh!

at least Ethan came over to let you know

Oh girl, you have no idea how many times I have changed diapers where the "contents" have been pushed out the TOP of the diaper and into his clothes. For some reason he really likes doing his business when he is either in his Jumperoo, his walker, the bouncy seat I feed him in, or his car seat. And when his little butt is down in a seat and poopy comes out it and has nowhere to go but up.

I swear what comes out when he poos is more than what goes in when I feed him.
It comes out of the legs AND the top - front and back.

just too much for one nappy to cope with, I suppose.

which reminds me - I need to do laundry AGAIN.
I may actually be able to wash some of my clothes soon too, instead of all the drying-space being in constant use for Arwyn's clothes

Hey y'all, hope everyone had a Merry Christmas! I started this thread when my baby boy was 8 weeks old, and he is 8 months old today.

We have gotten close to a foot of snow today, which is a lot for us here in the south. It is simply beautiful outside but it sure is cold. I only saw one of my chickens venture out of the coop today. And when I saw her she was flying back to the coop door, literally.

Hope everyone is doing well and you will post some current pictures of your precious little ones soon!
