Ethan eats 4 ounces (of breast milk) every 2-3 hours during the day. When he wakes up in the morning he has to be awake for about 15 minutes or so before he is ready to eat. You'd think after going 10 hours without eating he would be ravenous when he woke up.

Boy, oh boy... Mommy was too slow with the diaper change this morning and my poor little boy peed right in his own face!

aww! ive been lucky so far, except for one time..i was trying to change him in my lap while sitting on my porch (no one was around) and the angle he was laying, he wouldve peed in MY face! luckily i blocked it with the clean diaper, so i had to get a new one of course.
that is one thing about this one..he HATES dirty diapers..i mean he freaks out if hes dirty for more than a minute..my other kids couldnt have cared less.

Ethan hates a dirty diaper too. It can be barely wet and he will scream his little head off, but as soon as I start opening the snaps to change him he quiets down because he knows he is about to get a fresh diaper.

My DD (Elizabeth) is doing great with Ethan. She loves him and is a big help to me. She turns 9 on Saturday so she isn't such a little girl anymore.

How is yours doing with her baby brother?

she was really jealous at first...clingy, whiny...she still is a bit but she does love him. she wants him to play with her, but hes not quite there yet!

on the other hand, my older boys are in love with him..they haul him around, cuddling him, its so sweet. except my smart alec oldest..he called him a "parasite" and said he looks like a monkey.

until i brought out HIS newborn pictures. that shut him up!

My little EllaBellaBeans turned 7mths old today....and in 5mths from today I will be 37weeks so I will be fullterm and this new baby can pop on out. Sigh, time flies.

And after months of horrible teething her first tooth is up just under the skin and about to cut thru! She is a drooling biting mess LOL!

Addressing the 8 ounces at a time thing. My son went through 8 ounces 9 times a day at 4 weeks old. It didn't take me long to open the nipple and add cereal. Then he went down to 6 8 ounces bottles. He was a freakin piglet from day one, skinny as a rail from day 1 (21.5 inches and 7.6 lbs - exactly the same as me) and is 21 in september and still a beanpole.

ETA: I am NOT a beanpole. Only he got those genes from some unknown ressessive gene from the past.

my great neice just has a 4 month old just turned 4 months old his peditrician put him on rice cereal 2 months ago because he was eating so much that he over filled his stomach and would throw up. he is now down to around 6 6 oz bottles a day and is growing like a weed . hope this helps. also they put my oldest dd on cereal at about 2 months because of the same reason the milk was not enough
