I can't help with the rash issue. I'm sorry. I hope it clears up soon because I know it sounds painful for mommy and baby.

thanks for the advice. I'm using powder on him until it clears, my parents used it on me with every change and my respiration is fine so hopefully it's just one of those over-reaction things the medical advice is about

ah! the medicated talcum powder we're using on him is for athlete's foot. it looks like we're winning this time (hope!) and it's looking less angry.
