I ended up taking arwyn to the doctor, who prescribed a steroid cream which has worked thank goodness

Shane is 8 months old come monday, still not rolling over

but I am ok with that. I am not hurrying the crawling/walking thing

I think he just doesn't wanna roll over.


He has 8 teeth with atleast 2 more right on the cusp of breaking through.

He got a MRSA infection and has been on antibiotics for it, seems like it is one thing after another recently. If it's not teeth, it's a head cold, now it's MRSA. He takes it all in stride though and nothing will affect his appetite. He is 22lbs now...we are always getting the "he doesn't miss too many meals" comments. I like him that way, so I am not offended at all. I will miss the chubby cheeks when they are gone.

Hey everyone! It's been a while; Toby sure keeps me on my toes!

. He's working on a new top tooth at the moment (he has two bottom teeth already) but no rash thank goodness. I didn't even know that was possible.

Rcenter - I have a friend with a cute, cunky little girl and it took her forever to figure out crawling. She said all her kids were like that; her theory is that chubby babies have more to maneuver so it takes them a bit longer.

It has been for ever since I have been on olivia is almost 18 months and has ben fighting a 2 month long ear infection! Tubes if this antibiotic doesnt work! Any thoughts on tubes? Also a question olivia is fighting everything she picks up something and says mine if I tell her no she throws it or hits me I have no clue where this is coming from tonight she threw the biggest tantrum yet I thought I was going to rip my hair out... She.doesn't act this way at day care what should I do?

You will have to be firm with her. I am not sure what parenting technique you are going with, but I will tell you honest when my toddler throws something I smack his hands and tell him no. Be firm. You don't have to scream or be overly mean, just smack the hand and firmly say NO. I will spank his butt if he continues after several hand smacks and being told no. Mine is 3, and he just started with this behavior, so I dunno if I would smack an 18 month old's butt.

Honestly, at 18 months talking and trying to reason with them doesn't work. They haven't developed real reasoning skills at that age.

eta: when mine gets into a full blown tantrum I put him to bed and let him scream/cry it out. If he gets out of the bed I put him back in and tell him firmly to stay in bed. He's not allowed up until he's done screaming/crying. Usually he falls asleep.

We have smacked her hand before now you tell her no she throws it then smacks her own hand and throws a fit.. She is very smart I just don't know what to do anymore.
