On those stuffy noses, the pharmacist recommended to us to try using a saline spray. They have a baby version that has a gentle spray and a little spout for small noses. My eldest hated it with a passion, but it cleared her up enough so she could breathe. I highly recommend it.

We use the same thing. You can also use it for crusty noses during really dry winter weather. Isabella gets 2 drops per nostril once a day before bed. We haven't had an issue with dry, rattling boogies since we started doing that.

Boogie wipes are great for dried on crusty buggies and its easy on their little noses my daughter loves them

If you are breast feeding a squirt of milk in each nostril works great.

massage some olive oil into the scalp. Let sit. Wash hair.

I use baby oil on Shanes head after getting out of the bath tub, seems to work good. I also use the washcloth to exfoliate the scalp a little., We still get some cradle cap, but the oil improved it a lot.

OH....
anyone on here have a convertible car seat that they like, I will need to get Shane out of his infant car seat soon I think. I want to do some research on the bigger seats and thought you guys might have some insight on what is good and what is garbage

My favorite is the Evenflo Triumph! We have had 3 of them, and they are big (almost bowl-shaped) but they are comfortable for the children to sit in, and so easy to adjust!

Hi, Guys!
Hope all is well.
I've been back to work FT for a month now and daycare really seems to be working out well for Drake.
It has also been getting dry at our house with the heat going off constantly- we got a humidifier for baby's room & it has been working great. Keeping the boogies moist and not dry, crusty, or bloody.
We got ourselves a colicky one and are going to head to the Children's Hospital for them to figure out a bottom problem (abscess vs fistula vs ?). Amazing how guilty we feel when we just wrote everything off due to colic, letting our little BubBub writhe in pain. We'll know more soon enough and hopefully get things fixed.
Still breastfeeding & pumping at work to keep up with him. Not sure how long it will last but we made it this month and hopefully will make it several more.

Been thinking about you all. Hope you are enjoying your newfound lifestyle.
