Phew, so I dodged the newb hat? That is good news .. being 5ft 10inches, I really do not need to stand out any more than I do and hat hair is not a good look on me

A few of you may have seen me around the place and at the invitation of N F C I have popped in to say hello and hopefully, having seen and enjoyed your posts on some threads, get to know you a little better.

I confess to not reading the 1,169 pages of posts and hope that you do not mind me starting my initiation from here .. happy to wear a newb hat if that is required 

There was some mention of a sense of humour and I think I can tick that box    You may, however, have to forgive me some Australianisms
