Don't worry! If you don't clean the floor the grout will turn brown on its own.Was going to do the kitchen as well, but we had no dark brown grout.
We don't worry about dust in the house so much but the stupid pool and solar panels collect a lot. At least the panels get clean when it rains.It's like living in a freaking desert sometimes and no matter how careful we are the dust finds a way in.

So...your saying...us old folks... should not try/attempt... chewing gum and walking...There is an actual reason for doing this, and YES, it actually does help you see better by turning down the volume. It's the way the brain processes input, and stimuli. When it's not being bombarded with multiple inputs, and stimuli, more resources are dedicated to the remaining input. Thus, turning down the volume is one less thing for the brain to process, so it can focus more on visual.
