I’m so excited lol my psychiatrist appointment yesterday went so well!!! He appreciated my honesty and he’s not sending me anywhere LOL but he is adding another med for the anxiety hahah

I worry more about bringing home diseases for the animals to contract.

Me too. When I go to the feed store, or around anyone else's chickens, I make sure the outside of the feed bags are wiped down with Clorox solution, then take a shower, then dump the cleaned feed bags into the storage containers. At that point, I can take the feed storage containers back out to the coop.

Practice eating jello with chopsticks. Quite entertaining.

DD1's best friend could probably do it. She can eat ice cream with chopsticks. Gotta be fast though

No, it's not that I'm overly paranoid. It's that when we were house hunting, there was a property we looked at with free range chickens (and kids), and they had a severe form of Infectious Coryza. No quarantine, no bio-safety measures, just leave them to roam all over to contaminate everyone, and everything. She takes no extra precautions at the feed store either, so she and her kids contaminate everything they come into contact with. Now you know.....

At the Co-Op that doesn't happen. My feed comes out on a pallet and is moved to my van by employees. No one goes into the warehouse where the feed is except the forklift driver.

Good morning Old Folks, The best case I run a closed coop.
I have always had a sick or new coop. 30 days quarantine for new.
I am fiends with the people that run the auction they practice bio security.
