Does she go in tomorrow then?
I will remember to pray for you.![]()
Ok, I missed out on this one...what is up with our little Maddie??? Someone tell me. :/ Prayers for her starting anyway.
Your getting rooster sound complaints? Gee, I guess my Phoenix, Phoenix Bantams and Ohiki would not do very well there. They are all long crowers with those long tails of theirs. They are easy going birds. The phoenix is dominate of the boys but with the phoenix bantams being half Ohiki it makes him more docile and the ohiki are just plain docile and sweethearts.@Dragonfly216
Thank you![]()
Yeah, that mating dance is a funny thing to watch.
We have been getting rooster sound complaints. Not in the way most people do though. Since we culled Topi a week and a half ago, there has been no more crowing. The neighbor told me yesterday, that other neighbors are complaining that it's too quiet. Looks like Eemeli (almost 20 weeks) better mature soon and start crowing to fill the void. He's not doing the dance, not trying to mate anyone, not sounding the treat sound, not crowing, not anything. Karin said she once saw him sound some pathetic attempt of an alarm when a seagull flew our our yard, but that's the only roosterlike behavior out of him so far. He's really clumsy too, and honestly, pretty boring. He's starting to grow a bit of a tail though, maybe he'll turn into a handsome boy. His sister is just as slow at developing, and is only now starting to get proper tail feathers.
Hello, After the winter, people want fresh new potatoes. Not the shriveled up potatoes with eyes. Personally I would not pay that price and the farmer that raised them certainly does not get anywheres near that price.@ApiaryandAviary
Oh, the complaints aren't about the crowing, but the lack there of. People had learned to enjoy the crowing over the summer and think it's too quiet now that we processed the little guy.
The price of a product is right when supply and demand meet. If they've found it at that price, I say good for them. One thing I have a problem understanding the pricing with, is when the springs first domestic new potatoes hit the shelves of the stores. The first week they sell for up to 20 euros per kilo. And still people buy them.
Tomorrow is pre-op. Then no food after midnight so dinner tomorrow is Maddy's choice. Probably Chile's, she loves the table side guac. And we just watched the Lego movie so now "everything is awesome!"
