The Old Folks Home

She was born with craniosynistosis(sp?), and had one surgery @ 6 months old. The skull was broken into pieces to allow her brain to grow...it was all supposed to be grown back together by the time she turned three. The latest scans showed spots where the bone still hasn't fused. They'll be taking bone from her rib to help fill it in.

Yes, that is what these two I know had done. Shucks, too bad it didn't work well the first time. My little cousin is doing well, and she has a big sister, that they missed diagnosing at birth, but she seems to be doing well enough so far. They will just watch her for any type of symptoms that go along with this, then they would do the surgery. That young lady is now 5 years old.
Thought I best take the photos off..I didn't ask mom if I could post them..not sure what I was thinking, only that they are cutie patuties. :)

I have 26 chickens i would love to have, goats, ducks, and other animals however i live in town and rent lol so i guess i will just have to he content with the chickens. Fun to watch and take care of.
