Morning discussion with Karin over breakfast: "Oh, someone on BYC had made honey." "No." "It looked pretty nice." "No." "Didn't even seem that difficult." "No. You are not getting bees."

My grandfather raised bees. One boy I met while I was living with them was interested in how honey was made and when I explained it to him, I nearly spit on him when he said, "So, honey is bee barf?" ROFL It still makes me laugh to think of it.

I think it might be a good idea to consult the neighbors before building a hive. You might have some allergic people living around you, I would not want to accidentally kill a neighbor.

check the ordinances for your place. Some Cities do not allow bees.

Otherwise, check with the neighbors.

No i wouldnt want that. However there is many already Witz my flower beds, is it possible that it would contain them closer to my area verses flying to where ever they are coming from?
