Thanks!
Cynthia, she is so beautiful. When my girls were born they didn't have this cute type of stuff like the headbands. Precious.

Just talked to Dr. Kelly. He said the surgery went well, he filled in the indentation in her right temple, closed the gaps that hadn't fused (they didn't have to use any bone from her...used some sort of putty), removed some bumps of calcification and reshaped her brow. We can go back to see her in an hour and she should be awake an hour after that.

The swelling will be bad, I can't even imagine the pain. She will have round the clock pain meds for the first few days, I imagine. Dr. Kelly said he numbed the incision as well.

What a little doll! Get her some fun and funny hats to wear so if she's at all self concious about the shaved head she can use them. While in nursing school I nannied for a little boy with the same condition. He ended up perfect. I'm behind. You go away for a day or two and there are a hundred posts to read! Her surgery is all over now . I must read on and see how she is! : )Pics of Maddy at pre-op. My phone wouldn't let me upload them.
