Mutagens!!!
Hotdogs contain over 200 pesticides including mutagens and neurotoxins and promote liver cancer in laboratory rats.....rub the chickens with hotdogs...Lol!
.

I give it two weeks before we see a post from someone somewhere talking about how they've been rubbing hotdogs on their birds for a week and "still have mites" --

Dsqard and I finished a project we had both worked on for the past couple months. We followed a video tutorial and made a "Lewe's Balloons" growth chart wall hanging for a kids room.

Without her permission, here they are:

Hers:

Mine:

I also spent some spare time (after all, I'm not packing up and moving across the country) to make a matching play mat with Lewe on it.
Absolutely adorable -- you have a real talent!

They'll be fine.

Alaska, are you anywhere near Wasilla?

Sadly no.....uh, happily no.

Sadly, because that place is a great location to sell chicks, and has warm summer weather for growing goodies (tomatoes outside, and beans). There are also loads of goats there, I probably wouldn't have trouble getting my does covered.

Happily because barfy too many people, and it is a giant flat bowl surrounded by mountains, so the view is mostly the neighbors. :sick I at least can pretend that I live alone in the wilderness, freezing in the 50s all summer, only able to grow chives, dandilions and chickweed, while looking out at the bay and across the bay at the mountains and glaciers.

@superchemicalgirl and @dsqard

Great fun to contrast and compare those quilts. It is interesting to see how a little change in the quilting can make the exact same picture look so very different.

@chickadoodles I stay because I am married with children. :confused: Spouse said that as long as spouse lives, we will never move again.

So... We are stuck here. Been here over 16 years now.
