The Old Folks Home

Back when we had horses..... I tried so many natural and safe bug sprays on the horses... HA!!! I finally went to strong chemical repellants. I just felt so bad for the boys, the bugs loved their delicate groin areas, and then ears and eyes. The strong chemical stuff worked like a charm.

I do still have left over from the horses some herbal horse care stuff that I adore... And still use, on the poultry, and now on the goats. The stuff is magic.

I can't say enough about their stuff. It can make any would, fungal, rot, nasty, get all gorgeous and purty again. :D One of the goats we got had a dry skin, very thin hair spot on the back of her neck. I sprayed it once, and then forgot to look at it or treat it again. Yep! By the time I remembered, yep! All gone!

There have several different things.. Like one specifically for regular wounds, a different one for rain rot etc.

Anyway, all of there stuff rocks... I am not sure why more people do not know about them and use them.

Oooh me likey.... Katee has a belly that looks like leather..... Sweet itch she got at a boarding stable..... Poor girl will put her belly over her feed bowl and rock back and forth.... and If I didnt give her the feed bowl.... she would lay with her front legs out and rock back and forth itching on the sand in her paddock. Nothing i tried ever worked. EVen went through the vet and got antihistimens Were talking the horse version of Benydril fed by the spoonfull to the tune of eighty bucks a tub. didnt work.

So I moved her from the boarding facility.... but the damage was done... the itching became habit.

I was considering getting her a belly Dickey.

originally developed for drafts see the pocket of screen covering his privates. Its like a flysheet for the belly.
