The Old Folks Home

Every yr for the past few our zucchini and summer squash gets some sort of powdery mildew going on and about die off. Always late in the season after we've picked more than we need anyway. And then awhile before our first frost they'll get some new growth and we'll get some more squash. Weird, heard this from other people in our area also.

Starting Hickory syrup it has to cook all day.

The powdery mildew is why I had to use the potassium b. last year every morning before the sun came up. My plants stayed alive and kept producing all season. That's all I could ask for.

Morning everyone.

SGC I totally respect pharmacists and the work they have to do. Our local pill pusher is a gem. Seriously, it is a pleasure to use his pharmacy but the risk he takes every day just to stay open is commendable. He has already had one robbery in the three years that I have been a customer of his and luckily the local law enforcement takes it very seriously when it happens unlike the LEOS back in western IL where we used to live. When the local pharmacy was robbed they didn't even take fingerprints of the crime scene. :th
It's almost like having to work in a convenient store. And as always, it's the bad apples that ruin it for all the people who are suffering from pain, need the medicine in order to function and play by the rules.

I had the pleasure of working two days in a pain clinic when I was working as a temp nurse. Very interesting work and amazing how many people are living with chronic pain. I would definitely do a pain clinic before I went under the knife.

Penny, that is just ridiculous and so unprofessional. I'm afraid I would start jerking their chains a bit and ask them if they were going to do it 'comp' it so you didn't have to pay any billls.

Getaclue i that is the definition of a grumpy old lady then I have been one for years!:lau

I was on the the stronger pain meds by other Dr's did not like not feeling anything that allows me to do more damage pain to a point says watch yourself best part of Tramadol vif I do not take it for say 5 days no jitters or withdrawl.....

WOW! That's something I've never heard of, looking into it now.
I've never heard of Hickory syrup before either, but it sounds interesting. Who says you can't teach an old dog new tricks?

I did research on this years ago and made it and people love it on everything! Including me. :drool
