The Old Folks Home

I lost one of my monitors this afternoon. I'm bummed as I now have to have everything opened on top of each other on one screen. What a PITA! It's the older of the two and must be approaching 10 years, so I guess I shouldn't complain, but I hate the idea of having to go spend a hundred bucks on a new monitor right now. I really don't see how folks can work comfortably with only one monitor... I sometimes wish I could have three. Gotta have something to b#tch about right? <sigh>

Glad the new cream is working for you Micro. :hugs Pain is a devil of an enemy to fight with. Seems you might could win the battle, the trick is winning the war. Won't go there thanks.

Penny, I hope your new mixer works perfectly for you and out lasts you. :fl Not common with most present day machines, planned obsolescence and all that good manufacturing stuff, but there's always a slim chance.

Good luck with PT Cynthia. If you have a good Therapist, follow the directions given and it can (we hope) make a world of difference. :fl

Cap, I wish I had a fraction of your willpower/energy. Frankly, I don't know how you manage to keep up.
You have to have the right batteries! :lau And i sleep in mornings as well as take lots of breaks.

His left hind leg barely works anymore. He's devised a way of getting around the house by sitting on his left hip and scooting around like a baby does before they learn to walk.
They make scooter like things that would help immensely!

It's supposed to MELLOW them, not turn them into battle cats... :lau
Um, you don't have cats do you @Latestarter! Cats get all weirded out when they start into the catnip.

I couldn't at work because I needed to be able to see two things full screen at once. I currently have 9 virtual desktops on my IMac and know what is on each one. For instance #1 has weather and solar panel tabs in 1 window. #2 has VPR audio feed in one small window, AOL and GMail in a second window. Forums are on #3, etc. Control (number) takes me to the desired virtual desktop.

but I hate the idea of having to go spend a hundred bucks on a new monitor right now.
I have a 17" I'm not using, wonder if it wouldn't be too expensive to ship to TX.

What is a woman to do when she over hears her husband is divorcing her next year? :hit
Oh my. Looks like you need to change that signature. You've gotten good advice.

(And be uber-sweet to him so he hasn't a clue that you're taking actions not to put up with being second best.)
That would likely make him suspicious unless uber-sweet is normal.
