The Old Folks Home

Morning all!

Yep, Misty, so far so good!

@chickadoodles the one burner propane stove is similar to the turkey fryers that I have been looking at, plus they are heavy duty and will hold my heavy canner. Our gas grill has a single burner on it but there is no way it would hold my heavy cast iron monster loaded without buckling.

Woke up to snow flurries this morning. I told DH yesterday that March is such a fickle month. Spring in the morning and snow in the afternoon the first part of the month then as the month progresses, sunshine in the morning and severe thunderstorms in the evening. We are able to see our first patches of green in the yard and pasture so I'm hanging onto that.

Y'all looking at a nor'easter, stay safe.

I am thinking about getting some garden plants out soon. We had a bit of frost this morning but not hard enough to kill plants.

I need to check the forecast for the next couple of weeks

What are you going to plant?
Tomatoes, yellow squash, mini watermellon, thyme and basil to start. Likely some green beans too. I am sure there will be other too. I like to plant chard
