The Old Folks Home

We do not water the lawn here either, garden yes if we go more than a few days without enough rain
I can only dream of that here!

Sprinklers will be needed in a couple of weeks here and be on until late september

I finally got the garden supplies I needed. But I can't mix it with a cracked rib. And dh needs to see a Dr. HesH got a crushed disk in his neck and is now having problems from nerve damage. And a lot of lower back pain. From a few years ago using a pry bar to lift a 1200 lb.hammer mill while his boss worked on it. His boss never wrote it up as a work related injury. So.... Dh has been putting it off for months. I told him he now has to go before he's paralized.

Until they hit you with water rationing again!
We had to water two times a week under rationing. I usually water twice a week so it was fine. We reduces water use about 25% so not penalties here

He sure does!

I still have nerve damage from the spinal stenosis

The only time we ever water the lawn is if we have freshly seeded it and we are trying to get seed to germinate.

Our mindset is that if you water it it grows and if it grows you have to mow it. The less you water it, the less it grows and well, you get the big picture. Mowing lawn is not our favorite activity. I do water garden plants, flower planters, etc but the lawn is on it's own.

Got some more work done on the rooster coop today. Had to stop when I broke a drill bit and didn't feel like hunting up another one. Also got a new tarp up for the big birds and ran into town. Came home with a package of zucchini seeds and a package of bachelor buttons so I need to get the zucchini started. The way the weather is going here I probably won't be too late getting them ready to plant.
