You are trusting bird netting to keep your flock safe??? That stuff is weak as cheap gin.
I would not use round up near plants you like. It has a way of getting away from youI've used it as run netting and I've had ice decimate the stuff. Problem is my runs are all odd shaped so I am pretty much locked into using the heavy deer netting the next time I replace it.....which will be before winter. That stuff just doesn't hold up. Don't tell the birds of prey that though. They are certain that the roof is covered with wire.
You plant savvy folks out there. Can Roundup be used to control grass in an iris bed and if it can at what strength? Also if it can't be used, what can be used that doesn't kill iris?
Went out tonight to gather eggs and lock up. The hens approached me and offered to take their eggs door to door. I asked them why. They told me they wanted to earn some money to give me. I asked them what ever for? Seems like they want me to get all the roosters caponed. They even volunteered to do it themselves if I would just buy them the equipment. Forget local anesthetic. They will get them to bite down on a chunk of wood or hit them in the back of the head with a rubber mallet.
I told them to get over it and squat more.
What they told me to do can't be printed.......
