Our friend just sent me a pic of my babies! Mine are mixed in with his but they all are healthy, eating and drinking.

Gotta try and talk him into throwing that brooder in on the deal.

We had one back in the 1970s that my Dad used to brood chicks

I still have one! Got it from the feed store in the 1990's. The Brower Brooder is designed to be stacked into a rack with other brooders, but I just put it on sawhorses. Metal with three feed/water troughs, slide out tray for cleaning, split lid on top, and a curtained-off area where the chicks go to get warm under the heating element. Works great, but it's a watt chewer. Figured out if I put it in the greenhouse during winter hatches, the brooder doesn't work as hard due to ambient air. Only had to replace the wafer once and replace one of the troughs that rusted out. Great machine! Perfect for large orders of chicks.

I should mention that now I use Premier Plates and a prefab run in the garage for brooding.

Well the awful truth here they destroyed my bottom plate set it in a twist
going back to where I got them the 15th ask them to do a second for me hope it less than 1000

Oh no!

I go in for the dreaded two hour appt. tomorrow for a root canal and tooth build up.

I am looking forward to getting the tooth fitted with a crown though!

Penny did they offer you some sort of compensation for ruining you plate more than it was already messed up... I hope.

I'm typing on my new 7 inch tablet. I had a 7 inch Nextbook that I used to read in bed. It finally self destructed after 5 years of service so I got a Fusion Oreo and so far so good.

Now if iI can just get used to autofill without getting banned
