No peaches here, nope, not possible. But, actually it's ok. I'm alergic.. I can only eat canned ones or if someone peels them for me. Yeah, I know, weird.

@superchemicalgirl = the low record we broke the other night was it got down to 41 in town but actually here we got down to 36o next to the house and came close to frosting again out in the field.

Get a box of rubber gloves and peel away.

I planted the tree this morning, of course I had to remove the tree that did not survive moving last winter. It was an Apricot tree that was planted before it was decided that a shed needed to be built close to the tree. It is nice having the dead tree replaced with a live tree!

I needed to get the work done before we hit triple digits today. We will have above normal Temperatures for today but not at record temps. Normal for today is 94 for a high. The record is 109 and the forecast is 104 today and 106 tomorrow....Time to turn the mister to auto!

I hate that you guys are getting such killer heat this year in such a drought. Hopefully some storms will come thru and help with the rain.

I got up early and finished the outdoor chores (including lawn mowing) before 1000. I was soaked through with sweat. Now I'm spending the rest of the day in front of my sewing machine with a fan pointed on my face. I got 5 king sized pillowcases done for my parents (now hopefully they'll stop complaining they don't have enough pillowcases) and two oven mitts. The mitts are a bit of a mess, but they're done.

Around here, rain sometimes comes with lightening. There is not enough rain so little fires start.

It is mostly in the mountains where this happens. Cal Fire monitors the lightening strikes and sometimes there are hundreds of them.

NO MORE Fires!
