Dry incubation is a very misleading name for this method. It's not DRY, it's lower than 50%. Keep it around 35%.

Nothing against you CC, I just wanted to be sure people knew because I didn't when I started to try it one time. Luckily, someone corrected me before my eggs were too badly damaged... thank you Ron.

No worries. It depends on what works in your area and in your incubator. We're usually pretty humid around here and I go most of the incubation with no water so in my case it is dry. The only place I make sure I keep the humidity up is in the hatcher. I may invest in a good hygrometer or 2 but I don't even check it any more. I just go by weight. I also think my eggs aren't as porous.
Right now it's 93% humidity outside and 65% in the house.

All I get to do is look but not touch as I am in the USA.

Toni is a bed swimmer and she does laps all night. The lad fell asleep within I inches of what he is in the photo.

I steal kisses all night when I am there. Nothing smells as good as ones sleeping child
