Have fun on your trip.Quote:I am completely blown away by the great photos you can get out of a phone these days. It really is amazing. Those gorilla tripods are really handy too. I do "fiddle"Cleaver, for sure. But I like to fiddle in Photoshop etc also. When I can I try to line up my shots but I don't bother if I'm using the phone camera. I have a tiny tripod it's maybe 5 inches tall and the legs are tough and flexible, I've gotten some nice pics with that silly thing. Best Christmas cracker ever!
with my pictures in Photoshop too. Mostly to adjust the color a bit or little things. Sometimes I do more (layers and such) but I am just really learning how really use the full program. There are a ton of things I don't know how to do yet. I have a book and I look up videos a lot on how to do different stuff. The main reason to have a DSLR is the ability to shoot in RAW format. That format allows you to correct a lot of shooting mistakes like adjusting exposure and such. Looking forwards to our trip tomorrow down to the Grand Canyon for a few days. This is my graduation/birthday present to myself.![]()
