The Old Folks Home

Hmm, I use organic copper sulfate fungicide spray on my tomatoes to prevent late blight. Seems like I read some warnings on it. Might not be safe for chickens?

Its raining in earnest now.... sigh... Love the sound love the smell love how clean it leaves everything....

El Nino came through

El Nino should give us rain off and on all spring and summer...

Well that is certainly nice of El Nino. He's been dumping lots of rain on us - backyard looks like a jungle and it was just mowed recently.

Can't afford it often.

Goats aren't lawn mowers. Sheep are better suited to that.

What she needs is to scare a neighborhood kid into doing it more often.

Hair sheep are a good compromise.... they love grass but also browse... I want Barbados or Katahdin... I hear Katahdin are good milkers And good meat.

Hair sheep are generally leaner too.
