Ron I don't know if you recall when I lost my Bronze tom that I found dead and sent to the lab to be tested. But I got the lab results back today. I do not understand them.
Would you help me if I scan them and asked you to read them and explain them for me? Please?
It says that the turkey had round worms, coccidiosis and two types of bacteria in it's throat.Peep you are so right. It has been months since I sent him in to be tested I thought they forgot about him and me. And I sure can't read and understand this.
Quote: I don't have any of those turkey any more. I will contact the lady that bought the poults from the two orgional turkey. I was worried as to what he died from is why I sent him to be tested.
I will worm and treat my chickens. I did tell the people that bought my turkey that they had not been wormed and to worm them. So hopefully they will.
My DH thought that something may have hit the tom that flew out of the lawn mower. We found him in the coop and I did not see anything that may have caused his death. He was fine the day before. I am glad it was not black head also! So we will treat our chickens for cocci and worms.
I don't know if the lab knows the cause of death as the tom was sent to Auburn and they sent the lab samples for testing apparently. Because they did not even know it was a tom.
