I did keep more but that's all that's left. And we are planning on being gone more often so it will be easier to leave food and water out for fewer animals.
And our neighbor down the street won't feel like we are taking advantage when we ask him to keep an eye out for our place.

Um, chickens are the LEAST amount of work! Your neighbor will be happy to come by and take care of a few COWS, 2 dogs and 4 rabbits but not a few chickens? 5 minutes twice a day max. And he gets eggs for his effort!

I am so unimaginative, it's pathetic. I once put gift cards in boxes that sorta looked like they held jewelry and wrote in big letters"Not from Jared." I thought it was cute, no one else did. They also didn't care for the Walmart gift cards shaped like a piece of coal. Everyone got those one year I thought it was so cute. Nobody thought so. Hey, ya know if you don't like the gift, give it back to me. What's with these people?

He hate's chickens. He would not go in his wife's coop for anything. So no he would not. But we have auto feeders and a huge tub for water. So they would be fine for a week or so. It's the rabbits I need to work out a better way to keep a supply of feed for. I wrestled with their cages for two hours today trying to set up some type of feeder for them. We make some but the food get's stuck in the elbow. So I need to get some better ends for their pvc pip that won't stop up.

Maybe you could put her in a squeeze cage. Duh, only problem would be HOW to get her into the cage.
