I got my first BYC calendar today with three bumper stickers in the envelope! I love the pics on the calendar and the bumper stickers and funny!

I got mine too. Now I have to wash my truck, so I can put one of the bumper stickers on it. LOL!

Scg that is terrible that she did that to you. If she tries again pop her a good one on top of her head! She'll get the idea!

When my birds were young if they even attempted to bite me I made a uuuuaaaa sound and corrected them with a tap on their head.

All the pictures in the calendar were so beautiful! Thanks Raven for your beautiful contribution.

You guys are making me want a calendar and bumper stickers now! If for no other reason than to see Raven's picture.

SCG that looks painful. Considering how hard a hen can bite when she is broody and compounding the power behind a turkey's beak, it makes me flinch.

Idea. Get an old tube sock or some other small cloth bag she can't see through and shove it over her head before you stick your hand under her.

I have a pair of welding gloves that I use if the situation warrants it.

One of my Serama pullets decided to go broody yesterday, just when my eggs arrived in the mail from My Pet Chicken, from the contest I won. I set eggs in the bator, including ones from my own pullets, and gave the broody some eggs too. So we'll see what happens in 3 weeks!

I don't think you guys understand. To get something over her head would require getting near this creature again. Even walking by the nest box, feet away from her, she will peck out at you, trying to kill you from 3 feet away. And she hisses.

Lol! Get one of those grabber things that old people use to pick stuff up off the floor. Grab her around the neck with it and pin her against a wall, then put a bag over her head... or... perhaps a nerf gun would dislodge her long enough to check the eggs?
