The Old Folks Home

I can honestly say my Billie never once stepped on my bare feet. She nailed my dad every time he got around her. She must have overheard his cutting remarks about western pleasure riding not being real horsemanship.

But horse doodie is different from cow flop, Penny1960. One squishes and the other you can kick down the road. Now chicken poop, there's a present that just keeps giving. Even when it looks dried it isn't, put your hand down on the perch in front of the nesting boxes without looking first.....now that I hate.

Unless it's after Labor Day, then no white.

... unless you're on your way to your debutante by way of horse stalls.

I should start wearing stilettos out to the coop. Might help with that turkey situation. Yes, she's still broody.

I have my first drafts of my proposals done for the cemetery work. One proposal for just cleaning stones, the other for cleaning plus preservation (separated into section for basic up to more complex). I hope they at least allow me to do basic preservation work. Tomorrow I go get my (dead) cow (it's taking a plane from NY to ME)... [my "carrion carry on" joke was not appreciated]... Thursday is class, Friday is cleaning day... that should give it a couple days to sit and be fresh for editing. I hope to not look like a total ding dong (or freak).
