What goya product do you add? They make a lot of different products.

The thing about the shank is that there are a lot of healthy things in it that gets into the beans.

I use the pork Goya it makes it taste like you cooked a ham bone with ham on it in the beans or peas. I love it!

Think I should be consuming copious amounts of baking soda - wouldn't need so many room deodorizers

I picked up a different type of beans today:

Mayo Coba beans. They are slightly off white in color.
I can't wait to cook them...I will have to though because that is Tuesday's dinner

sounds interesting making a simple mac & cheese with ham tonight but just bought a nice ham side at Costco
