I have not tried heat packs . Pretty much i was in denial thinking they would get better but no such luck. I tried icy hot today which helped the left knee but not the right. Getting ready for egg nog with medicinal rum. I am going to look, i think i have linament some where.Cap have you tried alternating hot packs with ice packs on your knees? 15 minutes each. I've heard it helps. With me, it's heat. Ice has always increased my pain but heat gives me relief. Glad that you were able to get appointments. I have been arguing with myself about getting in to see my Doc before Christmas. He said if my feet didn't settle down he would inject them for me. Well they aren't but I'm not all that excited about having my feet injected either. At least not before Christmas. It's like, which is going to hurt worse. My feet or my feet being injected....
Our silly crippled cattle dog just got a wild hair and went half hobbling, half dragging himself down our main path down the hill behind our house on a quest of some sort. He was moving surprisingly fast and DH had to chase him down with his belly sling before he got out of sight. This is the first time he's tried that trick in a long time. Silly dog. Still we didn't mind too much having to hump his heavy butt back up the hill. He was happy so we were happy.
I promised DH I would only bake low sugar cookies for Christmas if I baked any at all which I will....man I think I will live to regret that promise....![]()
And i did order a heating pad that stays on and also produces moist or dry heat. Just waiting for it to show up.
