My Easter HAL chicks finally started hatching. Last time i looked i had 5 Crested Cream Legbars hatched.

Not one of my better Mondays. Had appt with Rheumy. Not happy that my neck hasn't settled down. Well neither am I which is why I'm there. Long story short. Toradol shot. Steroid shot. Appt with pain specialist. Increased my allopurinol increased my methotrexate.

I think I need to team up with @perchie.girl and the two of us have a good old fashioned cry fest together.

But sorry Alaskan. Mid 70s here today. Mowed the grass yesterday. Love the smell of fresh cut grass. Wore my first pair of clam diggers and short sleeve t shirt and put away the heavy winter coats.

Let summer begin!

And then things took a great turn. TRex has babies! I peeped under her skirt and saw two little chipmunks under her. Didn't see the third egg so suspect there is chick number 3 tucked somewhere. Cleared out the shells and beat a hasty retreat before I needed a tourniquet. Motherhood sure hasn't sweetened her disposition any.

It is ups and downs!

I hope some of the new treatments can knock the arthritis out for you!

Our pump is acting up. Not sure what is going on.

Maybe the pump motor was stressed by the running toilet. I hope it is fixed soon!

That is nice! I think I have 27 quail going. Two had to be culled and one died. I expected that since some of the eggs were over two weeks old and I did not to anything to store them properly. I will do better next time

Yeah... arthritis sucks.

My arthritis is nowhere as bad as @microchick but anyway....

My spouse has decided to have me try CBD oil.

Just started Sunday night..... so no report yet.... but it is SUPPOSED to greatly reduce inflammation.

So I am hoping it will kick in and reduce the inflammation so my knuckles stop growing and the pain goes down some. Sure would be nice.

Not sure it would help you at all... but there are some actual scientific papers out on it now.
