We might be having our "Indian Summer" now. 36° this morning but low 60's in the afternoon. I know that doesn't sound like summer to many in the south.
It isn't cheap here either, usually about $40/gallon. I grew up on Log Cabin Maple Syrup (they could call it maple syrup way back then), then I moved to Vermont and found out it wasn't even a tiny bit like REAL maple syrup. One of my indulgences. I also grew up on Imperial Margarine, haven't bought anything but real butter since I moved here 40 years ago.
The next time you have a streak of healthy eating and want to fall off the wagon the next day, don't. Add 1 day of healthy to your streak, then dive into the junk the next day. Maybe if you keep adding one day to your streaks they will become the norm.
We usually get your weather in 2 days but it looks like not this time. Maybe the jet stream is taking it down to
