Ridiculous co-worker.

If you want to, or need to work... no reason to stop working.

My dad worked until he literally could no longer talk or walk. He loved his job.

Also, many cannot live on SSI only!

I got my ultrasound this morning. NO DVT(s). That's good news. I had already gotten the appointment to see my Oncologist. I will bring this to her attention, as per my PCP, since she is of the opinion that it is most likely lymphatic fluid build up.

I made a good discovery, when I got my ultrasound. There are 2 imaging businesses, with similar names. Tower Imaging, and Tower Radiology. Both have multiple locations, and provide imaging services. Tower Radiology was the first in business, and is a private business. Tower Imaging is an extension, or satellite of the main hospital in Tampa, and networked into all the larger Tampa hospitals, and participating doctors.

Why is this a good discovery? Being a cancer survivor, and especially one that the cancer has metastasized, means routine CT scans, MRIs, Bone scans, Dexa scans, and Ultrasounds throughout the year. I complained when the large main hospital in Tampa, where my cancer center is, stopped providing many of these services for anyone on an outpatient basis. They only do it for in-house patients. Nobody explained that these same services were provided through them at their satellite facilities, and the satellite facilities are conveniently located, and spread out throughout this, and nearby counties. Now I'm not limited to driving to Tampa, to one of the networked hospitals for these services.

When I made the appointment, it was as a new patient, since I had never been there before. When I got there, I was already an established patient in the system. Insurance, and all my other information was already available. NO FORMS to fill out, as with a new patient. Now I know where to go from here on out, when my Oncologist orders various tests.
