The Old Folks Home

We need to start a club, Cap, The Wounded and Weary Club.

I'm going to throw some things out for you to think about.

1) Psoriatic Arthritis
2) Lyme Arthritis.
3) Post Lyme Syndrome which they now admit Does exist and is an autoimmune response to the Borrelia burgdorferi bacteria.

And like you suggested you could have a co-infection.
  • Babesia: A parasite spread by ticks that causes a disease similar to malaria.
  • Bartonella: The bacteria that causes Cat Scratch Disease (also called cat scratch fever)
  • Ehrlichia: A group of at least three sub-species that cause disease (Ehrlichiosis) in the U.S.

Do you have an infectious disease doctor around you? Finding one who will test you for co-infections you might consider seeing one. I remember you saying that you weren't happy with your doctor.

You know I know how it feels to feel crappy all the time. No fun. Not getting anyone to listen to you doctor wise makes it worse. Please be your own best advocate. Take care. Feel better.
I read an article about a women that had lyme disease and then 10 years or so later had symptoms again. She went through a lot of specialists that found nothing.

After years of this, it turned out to be graves disease. No one had tested her thyroid function!

I already did make a police report so he's not supposed to be talking to me, taking my pictures or coming on our property.
Then the next step is for the boro to get a restraining order against them. I'm sure they don't want to get hauled into court after that for violating it.

Sadly your backbone will likely have to stay stiff until they move, whenever that is. Maybe, just maybe, they will feel the weight of the legal processes they are bringing down on themselves.

Then come outside the second time, apologize and say he's getting it resurveyed and then we have to move our fence
Two things -
1) He violated the order to not talk to you.
2) IF the survey doesn't come out to the exact same points (*) then it becomes a surveyor-surveyor issue and they will have to figure out who is right.

He's already done an illegal act when he moved the marker the surveyor put in. Don't know if that is something the boro would haul him in on but I would think it something an official "office" would be responsible for once notified, not the responsibility of the person who owns the property. But then I'm not a lawyer so I could be WAY off.

* how likely this is depends on where the official measurement monuments are, how undisturbed they are and how easy it is to "line of site" the boundary points.

Much better to say to people that you are sorry to hear that they aren't feeling well and hope they get to feeling better soon.
Thank you for saying this!

It didn't dawn on me that my saying, "But you look great,"(which might be my first reaction!) would be insensitive. You're right, it totally skates over how the person is actually doing and feeling.

:hugsNo Worries, My pleasure.

Old people are always telling younger folks to 'guard their good health while you have it'. Now I know what they were talking about.

Amazingly, I felt like going out with DH and walking with him and the cattle dogs. First time in a couple of months. I'm pretty much happy with my diet right now...well no, I'm not but I figure if I keep telling myself that I will get brain washed enough to believe it. The only thing I miss are my granola bars, low fat ice cream and sugars in general. Got over the coffee cravings after a week and no longer miss it.

Every time I think about reaching for a artificial sweetener I pause and remember lying on the bathroom floor in agony and get over THAT craving really fast.

I see the gastroenterologist a week from today.:fl
