I let all of mine out except the adult Cornish. They would stay out in the rain.

We need rain here. 81° now. If it doesn't rain, i will be watering again.

If the weather minds are right we have a week of thunderstorms from now that will last well into the week. I need to build 4 more coops that are needed now and power tools don't like to work in the rain and neither do I. Maybe I should build the coops before setting eggs.....

I had oldest daughter with us. Oldest son is due to stay here at a campground with his RV for 4 weeks soon.

Good morning Old Folks. Daughter had to return to work. She's an RN travel nurse. Not sure where she is working now but I do know it is in TN. I've had 2 donuts and my meds and am going to get some more down time. More limbs down from last night's storm. They will wait for some sunshine before I tackle them.

Woe is me! I didn't pay attention to the calendar, and forgot it was Father's Day yesterday. Dh took it hard. The last time I actually checked the calendar the exact day didn't register in my mind. I knew it was this month, but thought it was this weekend, not last.

We're going to try to make it up to him on Tues. We'll take him out to eat.

All I need now to be able to process meat birds is a bottle of propane to heat the water.
