Im on the fence. Light combs and really no wattles. to me the top one has a roostery look and the bottom more hen. Though the color is opposite from what I think as well lol.
If the BCM rooster is the dominant rooster chick then if theres another it may be slower to show itself.
I Had this happen a few times with my ameraucanas

so Im no help.

2.5 weeks old is too young to sex a chick. To me I think she looks like a pullet but it would be good to post pics in a few more weeks.

Have you thought about getting another chick to keep her company?

Id love to see more eggs from everyone in general if possible. Id love to see what everyone gets from their OE chickens and what is their favorite shade and what they are striving for when breeding forward.

My 2 OEs are 22weeks and 15weeks old so I still have some waiting to do.

Thought I would give a small update from page 614. My 24 week old OE roo is still not crowing or being husbandly. Nor do I have any eggs yet. BUT...yesterday I noticed one of the girls doing that squatty dance thing when I walked next to her. Also there are some nice red combs and wattles on a few of the girls. I'll keep you posted.

Sounds like you will have some eggs very soon. My guess is less than 2 weeks. And don't worry your rooster will come around.
