Mr muddy already said he’s love to have some wild finches in the aviary the zebra finches are handling the cold well but not as well as the parakeets

Mr muddy and I are having the conversation right now....do we put everyone inside again tonight???? Forecast is only 28* overnight??????

I have no idea if they should go inside or not..

I know where there’s thousands of gold finches. But the wardens of the world might get upset if you move them.

i’ve seen lots of pretty wild finches here in winter (from a tree stand) yeah wardens probably wouldn’t appreciate me putting them in my aviary

I ventured outside to let the birdies out. Bumbo ventured out of the nest overnight so I got lonely little Jose out and cuddled him a bit before returning both to the nest. Jose was sweet as could be, but bumbo bit me

Tito, Angel, and Rose were first in line to fly out and claim their spots on the grapevine
