My first Polish baby has arrived!It was actually brooded by one of my muscovy ducks. She has another one that just hatched under her and 4 more eggs to go.

It's doing well. 2 more joined it today. The other one that hatched last night, didn't make it. Also, 2 eggs were left - one wasn't viable and the other wasn't fertile. So 3 total. 2 polish and one polish-barred rock cross. Got the eggs from a friend, so knew what I was getting.
The 1st and last are the polish. The middle one is the polish-barred mix. It is twice the size of the 2 polish.

Everyone is still Alive!! No medical issues noted yet. Becky has taken her new roll with precision. Now, that they have all been imprinted on her, I opened the nesting box more to the coop floor. This is working out Great!!
