They will come land on me... but if i try to hold one.. they act like im going to fry a chicken nugget!! Going to clean the coop now.. but so far not seeing color on anyone's crest.. I'll try to get more pics.Can you push back the crest? It might reveal the secret comb.
Pink wattles are a male

What about the big one? What do you think?
My guy makes growly dinosaur noises, crows (a LOT) - sometimes ending in a low note, sometimes a high note like a 'voice crack', and freaked me out last week sounding JUST like one of the girls was being attacked. Turned out he was just mad that they left him behind when they took off for the front yard.Hey Polish chicken peeps - got a question for you.
What do your polish chickens sound like compared to the other chickens?
My 2 month old pullet is like "eee" and "uuhhh-uuhhh" instead of the chicken sounds I'm used to with my other chickens. She even knows her name. I went out a little while ago and called her to the side of the run so that I could throw her a treat. She came running and played keep away with my polish cockerel. He never makes much noise except his crowing.I've only got the 2 for now.
My polish are perfectly fine and I live in the UK. Its always rainy and coldQuestion for yall, we are already discussing breeds to get for next year, (we have a running wish-list) and DH said he thinks he wants his to be a Polish chicken because they look cool. (We each pick one for “ours” & share the rest!) My son immediately told him they aren’t good in snowy wet areas like where we live. So can any of you give your experience so I know whether to crush his dream now, or add one to the list! Lol. Thanks for the help!
How cuteOk.. i had some modeling volunteers today... i know, not the best, and not close enough, but let me assure you there were a dozen blurs that got deleted.

This is little one... she is the littlest, thinnest legs, smallest head, and runs up to me (look, she even flew out of the brooder)... which probably means its a heart breakerthe shadow in the brooder casts off some orangey light, but im not seekng any pink or wattles..

@LadiesAndJane @PippinTheChicken
@JedJackson you guessed the top one was male when it was younger... what are your thoughts now?
Ok, had a closer look and big boy is looking ok... and on the others, I'm seeing pink mini wattlesI can't really see well enough. As long as big boy doesn't have a secret comb or wattles I'd say it's safe for now
She is awesome! What a sweetie.Well... now that my 3 little boys (one definitive, 2 probable) have found new homes, my big boy, aka big girl, now renamed Esmeraldacries when it gets late, so i bring her out to sit with me. But.. at 6 weeks, she is really big.. so maybe not a bantam afterall!
Here is tonight's cuddle time.
Looking kinda big
