I gave one of mine a haircut recently and her personality totally changed. She's definitely less paranoid and more assertive now, but still doesn't *love* being too close to anyone, chicken or otherwise. I catch her looking around all the time now, especially looking UP at things and just imagine her little chicken brain exploding at the realization that the sky is not just a mass of feathers.

yeah after I cut Soufflé's hair, shes constantly arching her neck back and staring at you

I didn't want to trim Soufflé's, but she got a nasty face infection from the feathers in her face.
