Hmmmm, I feel it can go either way. We’ve had some really warm weather this year and that was fall. Now that it’s free I have and consistently snowy, I have a wintery outlook. Waiting until it’s technically winter in December feels like too long. Clearly I’ve put way too much thought into this lately (so says my kids lol)

We had a cold snap... (well i guess most everywhere has). My polish, polkie, silkie, and cochin are just fine and don't seem to notice. But my poor little D'uccles were caught halfway through molt recovery poor babies.

I apologize to butt in- but does anybody have any photos of black-crested white polish? I know they're an incredibly rare variety, but i'd love to see any that are potentially owned. They're awfully pretty.
