Ooooooh i like her!! So is she a bantam 🤔 what pretty coloring 😍
The tiniest little thing! Our other two Polish are regular size and I’m not sure what Sylvia is going to be… She was a replacement for a standard buff laced, but is splash. Ethel is absolutely hilarious! She jumps straight up in the air if you startle her and has the cutest little run. Constantly dashing around with this springy little motion

Our Polish luck has been really bad and we’ve decided that it’s not going to be a breed we replace 😩 Sylvia doesn’t worry me, but Goldie gives me so much anxiety. She doesn’t seem to eat as much and holds her head a bit different (I do lots of vitamin supplements for them)

I understand.. wilma did that same thing, eating, but not enough, head slumping... but Esmeralda does that when shes getting ready to lay an egg. So many mixed signals make it hard to know if theyre doing ok. It sucked especially with Wilma because she actually LIKED being held and petted.. so she was my cuddlebug. The day she died, i was carrying her around thinking i was seeing her moving, not realizing she was dead. Just too emotional. And she was my pretty tolbunt.. i am holding off on any new pets for a while though as it is, i have 7 chickens a parrot and 2 dogs, lots of heart breaks over the next 10 years..

I have had terrible luck as well! They are just SO fragile 😩 I love them, they’re quirky and sweet. I’m trying one more time and then no more if I lose them too! 😩

I have 3 given to me by meyers rare breed, and or white egg layers. 2 have been left alone. One was pecked on the head. I put no-peck on her head she still gets pecked. I had to trim off the icicles from their heads. The good thing about these Polish is they are female. 2 are Black white crested. One is a blue splash.

That sounds so heartbreaking! I’m sorry you had to go through that 😭
