From what I am reading, if I understand correctly, the tight beautiful BR barring is from that double barring gene and somehow, is attached to the sllloowwww feathering, for some reason, way beyond my comprehension.

No. Only the roos have 2 copies of the barring gene. They do feather in much slower than the pullets but both are still slow.
