The Sizzle Thread!

Maybe showing what a novice I am, here..... Do sizzles fly?
Mine do not. Neither silkies or cochins are really fliers. My cochin can get about 1-2ft off the ground to get up on a roost, but my silkies and my sizzles will not....not even slightly.

I'm far from an expert but by 6 months should be almost crowing or laying :). If its not crowing yet I'd be surprised if it was a boy. Mine started at 4 months.

Mine also has developed a lot more masculine feathers, long slim ones on its neck and longer ones in the tail. Hard to tell from photo but doesn't seem to have those boy feathers.

But like I said I'm only a novice :)

Another thing. Do only male sizzles have wattles? My black (roo?) that I posted a few pages back has really big wattles now. None of the other 3 have wattles at all. Does that mean he is a boy and the others are girls?

I had a chick hatch with waddles, so no, it's not an indicator of sex.

Well unfortunately we are having a do over with Marys sizzle program.
We lost our blue splash and white girls to a hawk and my blue splash roo had white on the feet so we replaced him with another young roo.
As it sits Mary has 2 pairs.
#1 with a black silkie roo and a blue splash sizzle hen.

.
#2 a partrige sizzle roo with a white silkie hen.

What are her possible outcomes from these pairings?
We knew the splash to splash outcome would be black, blue and blue splash the splash to white would have been, splahs and white we belive.
But the new color combos we are unsure of.
Thanks Mary and Scott Ras.

IMO it's hard to know the outcome bacause the outcome can also result to what the parents of your breeders were and so on. I am not familiar with partridge:/ I do know many colors are possible though with your combos. Though I am not an expert
